Crochet Retreats 2026 

Our crochet retreats are very relaxed with no strict timetables - just fun and creativity for all experience levels. We combine delicious food and drink with interesting activities and excursions and, most importantly, lots of dedicated crochet time. It’s the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself with a new technique or complete those unfinished WIPs. Every retreat is different, depending on the group, but we make sure everyone feels welcome and included. Solo travellers can feel confident that they will never feel alone.

Typically the days go something like this:

Travel to Availles Limouzine on Monday with afternoon transfers from Limoges airport included. After settling into your accommodation, enjoy an evening at La Maison du Passeur getting to know everyone over a simple meal and welcome drinks.

On Tuesday, enjoy a relaxing full day of crochet in company. Refreshments are available all day and a tasty lunch is provided. In the evening, we will all enjoy a three course dinner with wine at a local restaurant.

On Wednesday and Thursday, we crochet in the morning followed by lunch at La Maison. After lunch on both days, we explore the area. Excursions might include a tour of a fairytale chateau, shopping at a brocante, a visit to a cognac domaine for a tour and tasting, an afternoon exploring a nearby medieval town or even canoeing on the river Vienne. The evenings are free for you to enjoy the local area.

On Friday, spend a last few hours at La Maison with plenty of refreshments available before departing. Transfers are provided to Limoges airport or you can make your own way home at your leisure.

How to book

To book, simply click on your preferred week below and pay a refundable deposit to reserve your place. If you wish to reserve one of the rooms at La Maison du Passeur, please also select Bedroom One or Bedroom Two for your preferred week and add the deposit to your cart.

We will contact you thirty days before your retreat for payment of the balance. In the meantime, you can arrange your travel to Availles Limouzine and your accommodation, if you are not staying with us. Please contact us if you need any help or advice.

Deposits for Crochet Retreats and accommodation at La Maison du Passeur are 25% of the total cost. You may cancel for a full refund of any monies paid up to 30 days before your arrival. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival payments are not refundable but we will do our best to fill your place and, if successful, will offer a refund or move the payment to a future retreat if available. Please check the terms and conditions of any other associated travel and accommodation arrangements as we can not be held responsible for these services. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
